The upcoming Sonata hybrid wagon?

Make it a hybrid!

MotorTrend has some nice spy shots of a new Hyundai Sonata Wagon that shares some Sonata hybrid styling cues, and that has some believing that a Sonata hybrid wagon could be in the works, at least for Europe.

I don’t know about you, but I love wagons, particularly if available in a hybrid option. I guess I’m just getting old. That, and I’m just a practical person.

Anyway, according to MotorTrend this Sonata Wagon prototype “shares the new Sonata sedan’s swoopy rear doors and a front grille resembling the Sonata Hybrid”. Likewise, “the curve of LEDs in the headlights” is “also a design feature on the Sonata Hybrid.”

Hopefully we’ll learn more soon.

Still on track

Despite a few rumors to the contrary, the Sonata hybrid is still proceeding according to plans.
